Terms of Service

1. Overview
By accessing or purchasing from Joy Thru Food, you agree to these Terms of Service. Joy Thru Food provides handcrafted soups, accoutrements, and related food products for local pickup in Bend, Oregon.

2. Ordering & Availability

  • Products are offered weekly and subject to availability.

  • Orders are accepted until Sunday at 12:00 PM for the current week unless otherwise stated.

  • Pickup is on Wednesdays from 2:00–6:00 PM in SE Bend.

  • Orders not picked up during the designated time may be forfeited without refund due to the perishable nature of the products.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change.

  • Payment is due at the time of order.

  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or cancel orders placed with incorrect pricing.

4. Food Safety & Storage Responsibility

  • Products are prepared fresh and intended to be refrigerated promptly after pickup.

  • Customers are responsible for proper storage, reheating, and handling once the order leaves our care.

  • For best quality:

    • Refrigerate soups within 1 hour of pickup

    • Consume refrigerated soups within 4–5 days

    • Soups may be frozen for up to 3 months in airtight containers

    • Thaw in the refrigerator overnight and reheat to 165°F before serving

  • Joy Thru Food is not liable for food that is improperly stored, transported, or reheated after pickup.

5. Gluten & Allergen Notice

  • Joy Thru Food is not a gluten-free facility.

  • While some products may be made without gluten ingredients, all items are prepared in a kitchen that also handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and other common allergens.

  • Cross-contact may occur, and we cannot guarantee any product is completely free of allergens.

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient information and determining whether products meet their dietary needs.

6. Cancellations & Changes

  • Orders may be modified or canceled before Sunday at 12:00 PM.

  • After this time, orders are final due to advance preparation.

7. Digital Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value.

  • Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

8. Limitation of Liability
Joy Thru Food is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use or consumption of our products beyond the amount paid for the order.

9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
